I came home from the grocery store late Sunday afternoon to find this going on in the backyard.

    1. Thank you! The snowfall was a little early for us compared to recent years. Last year we barely had any snow by Christmas and certainly not enough for sliding or skiing until January. Enjoy your snowfall when it arrives!

  1. I’m looking forward to getting my camera out in the snow when it finally arrives. I got my first DSLR this year and am on a steep learning curve…I’m determined to get the exposure right in the snow…may take me a while but I’ll persevere lol.

    1. Good luck with your new DSLR! Snow is one of the most difficult things for me to photograph. I set my focus point on the subject (usually my kids) and that helps to keep their faces from being too dark. The snow tends to get blown out, but I would rather have their faces nice and sharp.
