Week 23 Theme ~ Enchanted
I took this photo of these beautiful flowers on a crab apple tree in our backyard. When we moved to our house nearly 12 years ago, this tree didn’t look as though it would make it another year. Woodpeckers had made holes in the trunk. There were several dead branches. As the years passed by, I kept thinking the tree had bloomed for the last time. But once again this year, the buds opened to display these pretty blooms. I took this photo last week just a couple of days before we had strong winds that made the pedals cascade down like rain making our backyard look enchanted.
