Bird Of Prey
We took a short break from tubing to check out this bald eagle perched high atop a dead pine tree on an island in the middle of the lake. He was looking around to all sides – probably for his next meal.
We saw him a few times over the course of the weekend including once across the lake swooping down to lake’s surface to catch a fish. It was too far away to know if he was successful, but it was still quite a sight to see.
Adventures In Tubing
Sophia and her cousin spent a great deal of time tubing at the lake this past weekend.
