Joy of Love ~ Days 25-28

The final day of the Joy of Love photo project is now here .  My pictures from the past four days’ projects are below.

Day 25 Theme ~ When (You Love Them The Most)

I love that Mike always remembers special occasions – birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine’s Day.  It’s one  of the things I love most about him.

Day 26 Theme ~ Bro-Mance

What Mike enjoys when he’s not with the wife and kids.  He has his annual ice fishing trip and annual golf trip, but he also loves skiiing with his brother.

Day 27 ~ What They Say

Sophia reminds us of her love each day. Sometimes she tells us out loud, sometimes it comes from her big hugs, other times she colors a picture and writes the words.

Day 28 ~ Future

I hope for our future to include many more trips to the ski hill and many, many more activities that make us enjoy our time together as a family.

It has been so much fun and also a challenge to keep up with the daily projects for the Joy of Love class.  Although it was hard to fit it in with work, kids and activities, I’m so glad I did it for the past 28 days.  There is a free week-long mini session in March – Joy of Luck.  I plan to sign up and look forward to this next photography adventure.

Day 24 Theme ~ Where (I Fell in Love)

Mike and I worked together for six months before our first date. We became good friends during that time. He finally got up the courage to ask me out on a date and we decided to go out for drinks after our shifts at work were done. We sat in a booth at the upstairs bar of Grandma’s Restaurant and spent the whole time talking and learning about each other’s favorite things. By the time he dropped me off at my apartment building and we had our first kiss, I knew he was the one. My picture is of the building in downtown Duluth where I was living at the time.

Day 23 Theme ~ Facebook Photo

Since both Mike and I have not succumbed to the pressure of creating a Facebook account, we don’t have any Facebook photos to post for today.  I did, however, find one of my favorite iPhone photos that I probably would have posted on Facebook if I had an account.

Last year Mike went skiing with his Dad and brother in Colorado.  Sophia and I went to the airport to pick him up after his trip.  She wanted to bring Daphne with to greet him.  While they were waiting in the car, they got a little silly.
