Our Friday morning began with a visit from our neighborhood fox. We saw him last week darting through our yard, but this time he stopped for a few fan photos before taking off to his next adventure.

Hummingbird
Our hummingbird feeder has been a popular hangout for, well, hummingbirds. I finally tried to get some photos of the illusive little bird. They never allow me to get close and sometimes the noise from the camera scares them away. I had to keep a safe distance, so the photos have been cropped quite a bit to give you a front row seat.
Big Black Bear
Mike received a surprise for his birthday. A very large bear greeted us this morning as it strolled through the neighborhood. It ventured from our neighbor’s front yard, through our side yard, into the backyard and around to the neighbor’s house behind us.
She looked as though she could use a trip to the groomer, but definitely has been eating well.
