We have been patiently waiting to see the daffodils bloom this spring. We planted the bulbs last fall. I had heard somewhere that deer, rabbits and squirrels would leave the bulbs and leaves alone. Instead of trying to keep animals away from our gardens, we decided to plant things that they don’t like. So far so good. We didn’t expect to see the lovely yellow blossoms in mid-April, but we are not complaining!

what beautiful flowers. I think I will have to plant some of these in the front next Fall.
