The location may have changed slightly for 2014, but we were able to get the Sullivan cousins to sit still long enough to take our annual dock photo. It’s been fun watching them grow each year. They have a great time whenever they are together. I hope it stays this way for another 90 years or so.
A few photos from Labor Day weekend.
We had very strange weather this week with stormy skies in colors of yellow and green. The worst of the storms missed us, but others received large hail and wind gusts of up to 70mph. I don’t think I have ever seen clouds like the ones below. The photos don’t do them justice, but they certainly show the eerie colors and odd cloud formation.
Out on the lake, we saw three different ships that were lit up from the odd light, but the dark skies in the distance show where the heavy rainstorms were taking place.
After a week of weather ups and downs, we are enjoying sunny skies and temperatures in the low 70’s this weekend. Perfect September weather.
