Snowy Winter Grass

I need to catch up on family photos and happenings, but until I pull things together, here is a photo collage of the same winter grass I posted previously but this time topped with freshly fallen snow.

Winter Grass

Through the kitchen window I noticed the afternoon light shining through the ornamental grass outside.  The winters here are harsh, but the golden rays from the sun made the day seem just a little bit warmer.

Ice, Ice Baby

The sun was about to set when I left work yesterday.  There was a pinkish hue in the skyline.  I had to take a few minutes before heading home to capture these huge chunks of ice in the harbor.  They look like giant lily pads.
