The past few mornings have been cold.  Brutally cold.  Temperatures in the -20 range with windchill factors around -40 or colder.  Today was slightly better, plus the sunrise was quite nice.

I stepped outside our front door at 7:38 a.m. to snap this photo of the beautiful pastel sky and the sea smoke rising above Lake Superior.

7:38 a.m.

Twenty minutes later everything had changed with the exception of the sea smoke.

A Walk In The Woods

Sebastian and I hiked through Hartley Park last Sunday.  The weather was overcast, but temperatures were above normal for January.  A nice day for a walk in the woods.
