I have more flower photos in this post. Hopefully another post will be coming soon to recap the Fourth of July, a weekend at the cabin and some recent baseball games.

And one final picture of the African Violet plant from my Mom.

Lots and lots of rain this Spring, followed by a few days of heat has created some amazing flowers in the yard.

Even one of our indoor plants is ready to bloom. My Mom gave each of the kids an African violet plant a couple of months ago. This one is the first to have buds. The other one isn’t far away.

Unfortunately, today has brought more rain.

Sun and warmer temperatures are forecast to make a comeback this weekend. We are eagerly awaiting you!
The entire weekend was foggy, rainy and cold – upper 50’s. Definitely not summer weather. Saturday evening was gloomy and dark, but I wanted to get a few pictures of the plants blooming in the back yard. The light was terrible, but I snapped a few photos anyway. The sun finally came out in time for Sebastian’s baseball game this afternoon. I didn’t take any photos though. I was too busy enjoying the sun…and the game. 🙂
