Sophia has been learning how to tie shoelaces at preschool. This morning she practiced with my running shoes. With a little help from her Dad, she did it! Not bad at age 4 1/2.

Office Help
I had a visitor at my office yesterday. Sophia came back to work with me after I picked her up from preschool. She was very busy working on her art until her Dad came to bring her home. She created some very beautiful pictures of hearts, flowers and butterflies. She even signed her artwork and gave it to my co-workers. I think we have a true artist in our midst.
Bedtime Routines
We have a fairly structured bedtime routine for the kids each night. It involves all of the regular bathroom regimens and is followed by book reading, prayers and singing. Each night Mike and I alternate which child we put to bed. A new addition for Sebastian is reading 20 minutes by himself or out loud to us. Here are a few photos from last night’s routine.
