It has been over two years since my salmon colored amaryllis has bloomed. Over the winter I kept the bulb in a pot in the basement window. One day when I was watering my plants I noticed a flower stem beginning to grow. A few weeks later there were three beautiful blossoms.
Over the weekend we celebrated Karen’s 70th birthday. The festivities included a homemade breakfast, a bowling party, drinks at a brew pub, dinner in downtown Minneapolis and a brunch the next day complete with a surprise.
We hope you enjoyed your special day Karen. I know we all enjoyed celebrating it with you!
The month of March has provided us with wonderful morning eye candy.
