Sebastian and Mike waited in line to meet former MN Twins player, Jack Morris, last night.  They brought baseballs and a t-shirt to be autographed by the Major Leaguer.  After signing autographs for a number of adults, Jack paused when he got to Sebastian and made some small talk.  They talked about what Sebastian wants to do when he grows up (he is not sure yet) and if Jack’s arm got sore during the 10th inning of World Series Game 7 (no).  Jack was kind enough to let Sebastian pose with him for a couple of photos.

Mike returned our ski rentals to Chester Bowl last night.  Sebastian and I both rented equipment for the season along with our family ski passes.  Sophia has been using Sebastian’s old equipment and Mike has his own (used equipment from his Dad).  Sebastian had a great year refining his skills and competing in the Chester Bowl Ski Races.  His combined race point total put him in a three-way tie for 3rd place in the boys 8-9 year old category.  Way to go Sebastian! 

Sophia has also been refining her ski skills.  She skied at Chester Bowl, Mont Du Lac and Spirit Mountain this year.  Very impressive!  She goes down the ski hill with no fear.  She makes me a bit nervous, but Mike has taught her how to make turns and how to stop.  Even with her expert training, I do appreciate that she wears a helmet.
