Sophia was invited to go with her cousin Katelyn to a horse farm last weekend. Katelyn spends an hour each week “working” on the farm and another hour riding the horses. Sophia brought along her Little Tikes camera to catch some of the action. The camera resolution is far less than high quality, but she did have a wonderful time with her cousin (and Aunt Denise). Mike snapped these photos of Ella and Sophia in the neighbor’s backyard when we were in the Twin Cities last weekend. Pictures like this make me wish we lived closer to Sean, Melissa and the kids.
Mike’s Mom celebrated her birthday last week with two separate parties. We had an “adults only” (except for baby Max) evening with dinner and bowling the night before her birthday. We also celebrated with all of the grandkids on her actual birthday.

Karen had the highest single game score of the evening. Anyone who has their own bowling ball and shoes has to be a serious bowler.
